It took nearly four hours and 11, hard-fought innings, but eventually, a conference champion was crowned in Mount Horeb last Friday.
Unfortunately for the host Vikings, the crown went to Reedsburg.

The Vikings embarked on a three-game winning streak last week just as manager Ryan Finley was preparing for the postseason seeding meeting.

Mount Horeb’s baseball team split a pair of games last week.
Sauk Prairie defeated the Vikings, 4-1, on May 9. Mount Horeb then rolled past Baraboo, 10-0, last Friday.
The Vikings are now 9-10 overall and 6-7 in the Badger West Conference.
