Police Chief Awaiting Details On Stay Home Order

Hello Citizens of Mount Horeb,

With the Governor releasing information about the #SaferatHome order today, there have been many calls to the police department. We do not have any more information than you do at this time. We do not know all that is included in the order, as it has not been released yet. The preliminary information that I have seen brings home one point, If you do not have to go out in public, Please stay home and avoid contact with others. The order against large gatherings (10 or more people) is still in effect. This applies to indoors and outdoors.

This message is for the safety of the general public at large and meant to reduce the long-term effects of COVID-19. We do not know our enforcement efforts in relation to the order at this time because we have not seen the order.
