Bomb threat at Walgreen’s

The Mount Horeb Police Department issued the following statement:

On March 27, 2025 at approximately 9:42am, Officers from the Mount Horeb Police Departmentwere dispatched to Walgreen’s, 1401 Springdale Street for a report of a bomb threat.  The reporting person stated they received a phone call with vague information about apossible bomb left in the store.  

Officers arrived on scene and ensured the safety of everyone.  Interviews were completed and the investigation is ongoing.   Dane County Sherriff’s Office assisted with an explosive detecting K9.  The building was searched andnothing was located.  We will continue to investigate, but there is no threat at this time.
