Mount Horeb was looking for a signature victory when the Vikings hosted the Badger West Conference girls volleyball tournament last Saturday.
Coach Kurt Owen and his third-seeded squad got their wish when they upset second-seeded Madison Edgewood in the final round of pool play.

Two months ago, Mount Horeb’s girls golf team outlined a heady list of goals.
They included moving up the conference ladder, returning to sectionals and setting program records along the way.
Amazingly, the Vikings achieved all of those during a memorable campaign.
